Founded over 60 years ago by Julius Blum, today Blum is an internationally active family-owned company. Its strategic business segments include lift, hinge and pull-out systems. All our product developments focus on perfecting motion.
The company has seven plants in Vorarlberg, Austria, additional production sites in Poland, the USA and Brazil and 28 subsidiaries/representative offices. Blum supplies more than 120 markets. The Blum Group employs 6900 people in total, 5300 of whom work in Vorarlberg.

Encouraged by further achievements, brothers Paul, August and Franz Hettich set up a new company at Herford in 1930. Kirchlengern became headquarters in 1966. Our company has been a wholly owned family business ever since – now with Dr. Andreas Hettich at the helm as the fourth generation managing director.
